Mechanical Quality:

column cross section 160 * 160 mm, horizontal arm cross section: 80 * 80 mm, running surfaces laser hardened (minimum distortion) and chromium-plated.

By that the system is permanently protected from corrosion and is made durable. The Z-column and the traversing arm are fitted with adjusting elements which results in maximum mechanical precision.
The Z-column is screwed down to the X-carriage, i. e. it is possible to exchange the Z-columns (i. g. in case of repair works or expansion of the measuring range).

Measuring Counter

The measuring counter MZ 2000 for manual horizontal arm measuring machines can be used with or without software. It is equipped with a RS-232 interface for data transmission. It also has a connection possibility to 3D probes (made by Renishaw, Stiefelmayer etc.)

The measuring counter has a big LCD monitor and a 3 axes display. Axis designation, operational sign, resolution and counting direction can be set by the operator.

Furthermore the MZ 2000 has a reference and fading rate function, and allows correction of restart point, angle and tilt.

VENTURA manual / motorised is available in several versions:

• manual mode: purely manual Y and Z axis; the X axis is motor driven and is controlled by means of a high-precision electronic hand wheel.
  
• motor driven either in one single axis or in all axes
  
• disengageable motorised drive in Y axis or Z axis: easy switch to manual mode
