Whether in pattern or tools and dies manufacture, in machine tools or in the quality control of automotive parts – the “allrounder” FUTURA is perfectly happy in difficult ambient conditions.

For our FUTURA CNC horizontal arm measuring machines we only use components of proven quality, quality, i.e. probe systems made by Renishaw.

For the FUTURA measuring machines we offer the Renishaw incidentlight system as a standard. For difficult environments a dirt resistant magnetic measuring system is also available. The FUTURA CNC measuring machines can be equipped with a disengageable drive (option).
This allows a switch to manual use at any time, for marking-out, boring operations etc.

The robust design and the high mechanical quality make the FUTURA an optimum machine for combining measuring tasks with other technologies, i.e. milling.

The smart motion concept
offers a drive philosophy that separates the machine guiding system from the axes drive system. Negative impacts on the machine geometry caused by the drives can thus be largely avoided (i. e. hysteresis due to tipping, transmission of vibration). The machine runs smoothly over the entire working area.

The drive system is equipped with safety clutches and gear units free of play in all axes.
